Everyone loves weddings and kicking off the new year with their favorite people, so why not combine the two occasions for a guaranteed fun reception!  If you’re the bride and groom think of the pros for your guests… they will get a fabulous meal and will (most likely) be treated to an open bar.  In addition, booking a hotel block of rooms will allow all guests, even local guests, to take advantage of a reduced rate and to be safe post reception.

      Things to think about if you’re considering… your Save the Dates need to go out well in advance (we recommend 8 – 10 months in advance) so that your guests can plan for expenses so close to the holidays and book travel in advance to avoid last minute peak travel pricing. We encourage you to book a larger hotel block of rooms than normal so that local guests can also take advantage of convenient and lower hotel rates.  Therefore, it’s really important that your wedding website be on your Save the Date for accommodation/travel planning. If your budget allows, we strongly encourage that you hire, at minimum, a day of planner.  Holidays can be stressful and adding the stress of a wedding during holiday time can be doubly stressful.
