When I decided years ago that I wanted to be a wedding planner and that I wanted to plan destination weddings, it was only logical to me that if I wanted to plan destination weddings I should see destinations.
While I love the Caribbean, my heart truly lies in Europe. My Europe trips took extensive planning as I do not use a travel agent. As a planner, I love to research accommodations and make my own plane, train and automobile reservations. I feel this is the best way to understand how to get around countries so that I can advise clients. I’m so excited for Ireland at the end of this month. We’re visiting seven wedding locations starting in Cork traveling up the west coast as far as Cong with a return to Dublin to watch Georgia Tech beat Boston College. Go jackets!
It was fun making this list of places we visited and stayed. Here goes!
