I have always considered myself an organized traveler but felt the need to be hyper organized with the newer challenges associated with family international travel during the pandemic. Here are thoughts and comments for you on how I kept my family of 5 organized. This Document Organizer gets a LOVE, LOVE, LOVE rating as I really felt it helped me keep our passports, vaccine cards, boarding passes and our International Driver’s License organized and safe given the built-in RFID protection.

This backpack gets a LOVE, LOVE rating as it is roomy, and the straps are nicely padded and comfortable. I love the way it opens up and how easy it is to pull out items and put them back in. This bag has an area for a laptop up to 17″ in size. It also has great zippered compartments. My current favorite colors are gray and cream/white with gold and/or blush. You will notice a lot of my personal items on Lifestyle will have these colors.
This is our first European trip where I purchased each family member their own electrical adaptor. I even went so far as to label each of them in permanent marker so there would be no confusion. Best $13/person spent! This allowed each person to charge their phones, etc. when needed. Note: These adaptors tend to work great. However, if you’re in another country and your hotel, apartment, etc. provides a blow dryer, use THEIR blow dryer. For some reason our U.S. blow dryers seem to be the only electrical item that can overwork adaptors.
Given I knew how strict Greece was going to be when in buildings, on public transportation, etc. I ordered multi-color packs of face masks. Each family member had their own color. Super easy to keep track of each other’s face masks.
Our trip to Greece was everything I imagined it to be. I felt the Greek shop and restaurant owners and all public buildings and modes of transit did an excellent job of cleaning and sanitizing. Cleaning staff literally waited for us to come out of the bathroom so they could go in and sanitize.
The Greek people are warm and helpful, and the food is amazing!
