This week on the blog I’m (Stephanie) going to talk about being a professional planner with La Cosa Bella Events, as well as being a professional photographer. These two professions go hand and hand and allow me to gain insights from each perspective. As a planner with a camera, I know what lighting will be best for all of the important moments of your wedding day, getting ready, the ceremony, couples portraits, and the reception. The lighting is key in all of these situations and if not considered, you could end up with subpar photographs in bad lighting situations. Another bonus is that finding your perfect photographer is even easier because I am aware of all of the inner workings of a photography business and I know what to ask to ensure you have the perfect coverage for your day.
Another great benefit to our clients is the visual styling skills that come along with being a photographer. These skills allow me to be able to style your invitation suite, meaningful details, and place settings in order to get the best photographs possible. They also allow me to be able to think about your day not only in a timely and planning focus but to consider all of the visual aspect in order to style and plan each moving piece to be the most visually pleasing for your photographs.
See below for some fun images of things I have styled for La Cosa Bella with the skills I have acquired from being a photographer!
