Now that it is June, we are right in the middle of this crazy wedding season. With so many couple’s getting married soon, we wanted to talk about an aspect of wedding planning that can often be overlooked, wedding welcome bags!

For those of you who don’t know, wedding welcome bags are gift bags from the bride and groom for their out of town wedding guests. These are delivered to the hotel or wherever your guests are staying in time for their check in. These gifts can either be in (most commonly) a bag, a box, or even a basket. They typically include water bottles or other beverages, a sweet and salty snack, and information about the wedding weekend (itinerary, map, etc) as well as fun attractions and activities close to where the guest are staying. When putting together your welcome bags be sure to have fun with it, and think of the significance of the items in regards to the city, the couple, and the wedding!
