This week on the blog we wanted to talk all about wedding cakes! Sometimes the wedding cake can be forgotten, but we think it is such a great design element that should be shown off on your wedding day. Wedding cakes have always been a huge part of the wedding day and often one of the guests most anticipated parts of the reception.

Along with providing dessert for your guests, the wedding cake offers the ability to bring in another design element. Between the cake design itself, and the linen choice, your wedding cake display can make a beautiful impact. You won’t find us hiding a cake table in the corner!

While wedding cakes are not inexpensive, we love the current trend of adding in a fake tier to add height and impact, but to also save money. Kitchen cakes are another great way to feed all of your guest and save a little bit of money. Since these are not as intricately decorated as the wedding cake itself, the kitchen cakes are less expensive. Your guests won’t know the difference one it is plated!
