As we say good riddance to 2020 and begin 2021, we want to spotlight a few of the Triangle’s newest and soon-to-open venues! We know first hand how hard it can be to find a venue in peak wedding season, so we are always excited when new venues open!

The first venue on our new venue spotlight is Carolina Grove in Hillsborough. Carolina Grove just opened in fall 2020 and it is an upscale Barn Venue with a light and airy design. This venue may appeal to more couples as it is not your typical barn venue. Carolina Grove can formally seat 250 people inside and accommodate over 300 outside. The next venue will be finished in Feb 2021 but will be opening in Spring 2021 for weddings. The Maxwell is going to have a contemporary style that will accommodate many couples with all types of style. They will feature indoor and outdoor spaces and the ability to seat over 200 guests. The Maxwell will be located just outside of Downtown Raleigh. At the very end of 2019, The Victorian in Youngsville opened it’s doors to weddings. Almost all of the LCB staff lives in the North Raleigh/Wake Forest area, so we were excited to see a new venue opening near us! This venue features a classic Victorian home with large outdoor spaces that can be tented and hold up to 200. If you want a smaller indoor wedding they can seat up to 70 inside the house. The Distillery, a refined industrial venue, will be opening in 2021! Located in Garner, just 15 minutes outside of Downtown Raleigh this location will give you downtown feels without having to be in downtown. Last but not least, is The Upchurch! The Upchurch is a new venue coming to Apex, NC later in 2021. The venue will consist of three event spaces including the restored Upchurch-Williams house, the newly built Conservatory, and the expansive Magnolia Wedding Lawn. The Owner, Cara Powell, will be bringing her many years of experience as a wedding photographer into the building of the venue so that it is picture perfect! https://www.theupchurchvenue.com/
